Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of hanulsec.com (the "Site"), operated by HanulX Private Limited, a company registered in India with its registered office at AVS Layout, Koramangala, Bengaluru 560095, Karnataka, India ("HanulSec", "we", "us"). HanulSec is a brand of HanulX Private Limited. By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About the Site

The Site describes our cybersecurity services and lets you request a quote or contact us. Content on the Site is general information. It is not professional security, legal or compliance advice for your situation, and it does not create a client relationship.

2. Our services are governed by a separate agreement

Any penetration test, assessment, monitoring, incident response or other engagement is provided only under a signed agreement, such as a Master Services Agreement and Statement of Work. That agreement sets out the scope, fees, timelines, confidentiality and liability for the engagement. If it conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement wins. Quotes and proposals are valid only for the period stated on them.

3. Authorisation for security testing

We test only systems that the client owns or is legally allowed to have tested, and only after written authorisation and an agreed scope. By requesting testing, you confirm that you have, or will obtain, every permission needed for the systems you ask us to test, including from hosting and cloud providers where their policies require it.

4. Acceptable use

When using the Site you agree not to:

• Break the law or the rights of others.
• Send false information, spam or malicious content through our forms or email addresses.
• Try to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Site or our systems.
• Scrape or copy the Site's content in bulk, or use it to build a competing service.

5. Responsible disclosure

If you find a security issue in our own systems, please report it to security@hanulsec.com (see also security.txt). Please give us reasonable time to fix it before sharing it with anyone else, avoid accessing or changing other people's data, and do not run denial-of-service, social engineering or physical tests. We will not pursue legal action against good-faith research that follows these rules.

6. Intellectual property

The Site, including its text, design, graphics, code and the HanulSec name and logo, belongs to HanulX Private Limited or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own business use. You may not copy, modify or republish them without our written permission. Names of standards and frameworks shown on the Site, such as ISO/IEC, NIST, OWASP and MITRE, belong to their respective owners. Showing them describes the frameworks our work aligns to and does not mean those organisations endorse us.

7. Disclaimers

We work to keep the Site accurate and available, but it is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Figures on the Site describe our standard service commitments and are not a guarantee of a specific outcome for your organisation. No security service can promise that a system will never be breached.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, HanulX Private Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or data, that arises from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to INR 10,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Links to other websites

The Site may link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

10. Privacy

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
